About NextWork50
Built around a simple idea: experience should compound.
Career advice for people over 50 is often either patronizing or unrealistically generic. NextWork50 is designed around the opposite approach: treat experience as useful data and make the next move concrete.
What we are building
NextWork50 combines three things:
- Career transition: realistic adjacent roles that reuse existing strengths.
- AI readiness: job-specific workflows rather than generic technology tutorials.
- Proof: small portfolio projects that show current capability before a candidate applies.
What we are not building
This is not a job board, a personality test, an automated hiring predictor or a site that mass-produces generic “best jobs for seniors” pages. The tool is a starting point for better decisions, not a replacement for local research or professional advice.
Who it is for
Experienced professionals roughly 50–65 who want to stay employable, move into an adjacent role, find more flexible work or make a larger change without discarding everything they already know.
Our product principles
- Use plain language and large, readable interfaces.
- Do not make age the person's identity.
- Prefer official or primary data sources for factual labor-market information.
- Never invent precise salary or hiring predictions.
- Use AI to explain and personalize, not to fabricate facts.
- Show how recommendations were formed.
